There are several reasons behind this condition that involves sharp objects like nail, damage of the valve system, continuous rubbing of tyre aligned with the road, tearing of the tyre and separation of tyre with the rim.   The puncture of the tyre is made according to the size of the puncture. There are different methods of doing inner tube patching.

-          GP-2 Super Patch kit

In this, pre-glued patches are generally used.

-           VP-1 Vulcanizing patch kit

There is availability of thin layer made of self-vulcanizing glue present on the tube.

Performing temporary repair of tyre using TB-2 tyre boot

This can be done in the case if there is damage due to ripper and casing condition. This can easily be done by:

1.      First of the step is to find the rip in tyre. After that the rip size has to be compared with the tyre boot. It is must that boot completely cover the rip that has to be mend.
2.      Clean the tyre from inside, which is adjacent to the rip.
3.      The back paper of the boot has to be ripped off.
4.      If the size of the boot is extending, then cut it t the required size.
The last step is to centre patch the rip and press it inside of casing.
